I'd read about the campaign in the press - what I don't understand is duty on beer went up by more than on spirits, when it's alcopops that are the cause of much of the trouble?

I have been several times to the Hand in Hand - I've never found it that great a place to drink in, and the beer was a bit variable. I prefer the Barley Mow as a pub in that neck of the woods.David Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05267597015131132571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3144275679923702418.post-49607457194961846862008-03-21T01:22:00.000+00:002008-03-21T01:22:00.000+00:00Will you support the campaign to get Alistair Darl...Will you support the campaign to get Alistair Darling banned from every pub in Britain?

Simply print off the poster and get your landlord to put it up in your local.

I live about 100 yards from the Gardeners. It's a great pub, just come from there actually, having enjoyed a few pints of Harvey's Porter. The Hand in Hand in Kemp town is interesting - if a little strange - reputed to be England's smallest brew pub.Garethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10021800974251370747noreply@blogger.com
